    HyCo攜帶型壓縮機基於金屬氫化物的熱力學性質,由輸出壓力可變的儲氫裝置(高達90 Nl H₂的存儲量)組成。 在室溫下用低於10 bar的氫氣填充儲氣罐,並根據需要在10 bar到200 bar(2900 psi)的壓力範圍內輸送超純氫氣。
    技術原理是是使氫分子與儲存材料接觸時,分子在氫原子中解離。 然後,這些原子被金屬化合物的間隙位置吸收。 此過程在接近環境壓力(低於10 bar)下發生,非常安全並且100%可逆。 在這種狀態下獲得的氫密度極高,是液態氫的兩倍,是加壓氣體的四倍。
