Electrolyser collector LC20

The Electrolyser collector LC20 is a high-performance current collector assembly designed for electrochemical systems with an active area of 20 cm². It includes a copper current collector, a PVC spacer, a sheet and mesh titanium anode coated with a mixed metal oxide layer, and two PVDF turbulizers. This configuration enhances electrochemical efficiency, improves mass transfer, and protects the membrane from mechanical stress. The mesh electrode increases the effective surface area, improving reaction kinetics. The turbulizers not only optimize electrolyte flow but also ensure uniform compression of the opposite felt electrode and shield the membrane from sharp edges of the mesh. The Electrolyser collector LC20 can be used to convert a standard lab cell into an electrolyser, as it is fully compatible with the components used in, for example, Lab cell 20.
