Scalable electrochemical testing platforms for industrial and research applications Pinflow’s Pilot test benches are advanced systems designed for the electrochemical testing of large redox flow battery stacks. These platforms are ideal for bridging the gap between laboratory-scale research and real-world deployment, offering precise control, robust construction, and full system integration. Each bench consists of two main units: the tank station and the control station. The tank station accommodates both the electrolyte tanks and the electrochemical stack, integrating all fluid-handling components into a single, compact frame. It includes air-tight polypropylene tanks, chemical-resistant centrifugal pumps, rigid polypropylene plumbing, and a full suite of sensors for monitoring temperature, pressure, flow rate, and electrolyte levels. These sensors are connected to the control station, which manages data acquisition, system control, and safety protocols.
